Job Summary

Provides the leadership and direction to implement the policies established by Hospital Administration and the Board of Directors for the financial areas; directs the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures; organizes the department in accordance with administrative guidelines in order to provide financial related services which comply with legal, organization, and regulatory requirements; functions in an advisory capacity to administration and department directors in financial matter, internal control issues, information systems upgrades/additions, strategic financial planning, and other financial related processes.


Education / Experience

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Management or Business Administration with concentration in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Three to five years of hospital accounting experience required.
  • Management and supervisory experience also required.
  • General knowledge of healthcare financial environment, including third party reimbursement and hospital accounting. Leadership skills, management techniques, and process improvement and improvement techniques.
