Provides assistance to the nursing staff in an assigned unit by maintaining a well-organized and functional unit performing those duties and responsibilities assigned with competence and efficiency.
Performs specific duties of patient care under the direction and guidance of an RN.
Education / Experience
High School graduate or equivalent with successful completion of a formal Nursing Assistant course or completion of fundamentals in a school of nursing.
Must be registered by IDPH, and be listed on the Healthcare Worker Registry.
Prefer course in medical terminology.
Hours Per Schedule
Full Time
7 am - 7 pm with weekend and holiday rotation
