Job duties include taking care of patients throughout the peri-operative stay, pre-op interviews, intra-operative care, recovery room, giving meds, blood products, and circulating duties. Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical preps, lifting 50 lbs, and transporting patients.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current registration with the Department of Professional Regulations in the State of Illinois.
Prefer 2 years of Med/Surg or surgical nursing experience.
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Hours
Full Time
40 hours per week
M-F 6:45a-3:15p, with call rotation
