Nutrition Nights at STH – Free Bi-Monthly Nutrition Education Sessions

Salem Township Hospital’s Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, Caroline Boehne, announces new bi-monthly nutrition education sessions called “Nutrition Nights at STH.” These sessions are free and open to any community member looking for help in making informed choices about nutrition and healthy living.

Each session will include an engaging presentation, opportunities for discussion, practical take-home tips, and a healthy snack. Topics may include healthy aging, heart and brain health, meal planning, grocery shopping, hydration, protein needs, nutrition myths, and more. Community members are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they wish, as each program will feature a unique topic aimed at helping participants live healthier, more active lives.

“Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools we have to support health and prevent chronic disease, yet many people don’t know where to start or believe it’s too late to make a difference. Nutrition can also feel overwhelming, especially with so much conflicting information available. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is helping people discover that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. My goal is to provide community members with practical tips and evidence-based information that make improving health through food and nutrition affordable, achievable, and enjoyable.

– Caroline Boehne

The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 5:30 pm in the Salem Township Hospital Linda Mobley Community Room. Join Caroline for “Food as Medicine: Small Choices, Big Impact,” and discover how simple actions can lead to powerful results.

An RSVP is requested to reserve your spot, as space is limited. Call Caroline at (618) 740-1688 or email ckboehne@sthcares.org.
