Diabetes Support & Nutrition Education Group Meeting

Protein Power: What Counts, What Doesn’t, and What’s Just Marketing?

Hosted by: Caroline Boehne, MS, RDN, LDN

Protein is everywhere right now—protein bars, shakes, snacks, and even cereal—but how do you know what’s actually healthy?

Join us for July’s diabetes education group as we talk about why protein matters for blood sugar, fullness, muscle health, and healthy aging. We’ll also explore today’s “high-protein” food trends and discuss what to watch out for when protein is sometimes used more as a marketing buzzword than a nutritional choice.

Light, diabetes-friendly snacks will be provided!
Group meetings are free and open to all ages.
