Late in the year 2000, Linda Mobley called for a meeting of citizens interested in forming an organization to assist the hospital with capital projects. In January 2001 a volunteer organization known as the Salem Township Hospital Foundation was formed. The STH Foundation is an all volunteer group dedicated to assisting the hospital with funds for projects that provide the best health care possible for area residents.

Scholarships & Donations

To date the STH Foundation has given over $1,495,612 for capital equipment and improvements to the hospital so far.  Also, $146,652 has been given in scholarships for students in the health care programs.

Anyone who would like to donate to the STH Foundation may do so by:

  • giving your gift to any of the STH Foundation Board Members
  • sending a gift in the name of the STH Foundation
1201 Ricker Drive, Salem, Illinois 62881.

Make checks payable to Salem Township Hospital Foundation.

If you would like the gift in honor of, or in memory of someone, so note on your check.

The STH Foundation is a 501c3 organization and your gift will be for a tax credit. All gifts are deeply appreciated.
