Qualifications
- Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Must possess a current food service sanitation license or be willing to complete the course.
Position Summary
- Assumes responsibility for the overall education and nutrition plan for outpatients and inpatients.
- Gathers and applies nutritional data on patients.
- Works with the medical staff to determine required diet and patient education needs.
- Provides nutrition education to patients, families, and personnel.
- Documents in the patients' medical records as necessary.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance Program.
