Patient Access Clerk | Part-Time
Summary
- Interviews inpatients, outpatients, and Rural Health Clinic patients to obtain correct information and signatures for the purpose of admission and billing.
- Provides excellent customer service by being polite and courteous to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
- Working varied hours and weekends/holidays is required.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Courses in computer, typing, and English preferred.
- Experience with patient registration or other healthcare-related departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively to promote excellent customer service.
- Emphasis on accurate grammar and spelling.

Starting Hourly Pay Range
- $17.00/hr – $20.40/hr
Actual hourly pay rate depends on experience (DOE).
