Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program from an AMA-approved school.
- Completion of registry with the ARRT and accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology from the State of Illinois IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety.
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for imaging procedures ordered by practitioners for all designated patients.
- Provide staffing requirements as indicated by department activity.
- Follow all policies and procedures outlined by the hospital and imaging department.
- Provide coverage for on-call shifts.
