Join our team in a Surgery department role as Surgical Technologist or Scrub Nurse.
We’re looking for a Surgical Technologist (or) Scrub Nurse who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of patient-centered surgical care, and wants to be part of a professional, collaborative healthcare team.
Position Summary
- The Surgical Technologist / Scrub Nurse assists with the care and preparation of surgical patients and supports the surgical team by performing routine and delegated duties in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of the Surgery Department.
- This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and the surgical team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, or applicable surgical technology training.
- Current professional registration/licensure with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), as applicable to the position.
- Previous Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (OR), or Scrub Nurse experience REQUIRED.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical and healthcare team.
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.
Schedule
- Full-Time Days
- Monday – Friday
- 6:45 am – 3:15 pm
- Call Rotation Required
Starting Hourly Pay Range
- Surgical Technologist: $21.50/hr – $25.80/hr
- Scrub Nurse: $22.25/hr – $32.27/hr
Actual hourly pay rate depends on experience (DOE).
