Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations is required.
- Prefer provider office, medical/surgical, or surgical experience.
Position Summary
- Assesses, plans, and provides patient care with accurate and thorough documentation in the medical record and perioperative area.
- Works closely with the patient, significant others, coworkers, and staff to provide quality care efficiently and safely consistent with the organization protocols.
- Answers phone calls from physicians, offices, and patients to schedule surgical procedures.
- Collects diagnostic reports on patients for physicians and files appropriately, and accurately coordinates phone messages to team members including physicians.
- Implements nursing interventions for assigned patients under RN supervision.
- Collaborates with RN and team members to collect necessary documents for the surgical patient.
- Prepares and reviews charts for upcoming surgery.

- Monday - Friday
- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
Hourly Pay Range
- $22.25 – $33.38
Actual hourly pay rate depends on experience (DOE).
