Registered Nurse Senior Behavioral Health

Graduate of accredited nursing program with an Associates or Bachelor's degree.
Current registration with the Department of Professional Regulation in the State of Illinois.
Certification in gerontological and/or psychiatric nursing desirable.
Acute-care clinical and/or psychiatric nursing experience required.
One or two years of previous experience required.

Responsible for providing nursing care within the program, including assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing treatment plans and discharge planning.
Monitors patient's health status, performs comprehensive assessments, takes physician's orders, manages medications, and provides health education to patients and families. As a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the RN will also handle administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
This role requires professionalism and accountability in all aspects of performance.
