Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
- Current licensure from the Department of Professional Regulations in the State of Illinois.
- Must have a certificate of completion for cardiac care class and proof of passing the course.
- Must have at least one year of Med-Surg nursing and at least two years of current nursing experience.
- Will be ACLS trained within six months.
- Current in CPR.
Job Summary
- Must function as an independent nurse over a three-bed ICU unit and eight telemetry beds monitored from the Med-Surg floor.
- Provides specialized care to acutely ill patients utilizing technical and specific knowledge to meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Night Shift
- 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Rotating holidays and weekends
