Interviews inpatients, outpatients, and Rural Health Clinic patients for identifying information and collects proper documentation and consents.
Responsible to maintain accurate records of patient demographic information, insurance information, and consent for treatment and billing per the registration process.
Pre-certifies insurance coverage, collects co-pays, and provides excellent customer service by being polite and courteous to patients, staff, and visitors.
Position requires a positive attitude, ability to work with others, and ability to multi-task.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills, typing skills, and communication skills are required.
Experience in a hospital, similar medical facility, or physician's office preferred.
